Germany - Dresden to Berlin

The Augustus Bridge crosses the Elbe River and although it looks quite ancient it was built around 1907. This vaulted arch bridge is named after Augustus the Strong who was Elector of Saxony from 1697, Imperial Vicar and elected King of Poland and Grand Duke of Lithuania from 1697. A busy boy!
